The KUMHO FIA TCR World Tour has revealed a heavily revised calendar for its 2025 season, with only three races carrying over from 2024, but with the retention of Macau as the season finale, and important new events in Mexico and South Korea.

This weekend, the 2024 KUMHO FIA TCR World Tour season comes to end at its traditional resting place, the Guia circuit of Macau.
It’s one of the closest years in world touring cars in history, seven drivers go to the Macau circuit with a chance of becoming the series’ champion. Revised calendar for the FIA TCR World Tour due to Red Sea restrictions
The KUMHO FIA TCR World Tour yesterday published a revised calendar for its 2024 season, with the series dropping the two rounds in Australia from the back-end of the calendar due to logistical issues — with the series unable to get the cars and equipment from South America to Asia/Australia in time to compete in both China and Australia.
Eric Gené stars in 2024 TCR Spain prologue
The fast-growing TCR Spain series put on a unique pair of races this month, hosting its own pre-season series, setting up four races as a far more interesting concept than a collection of winter test days — and while the current TCR South America champion Ignacio Montenegro secured the title, he had a close fight with the second-generation driver Eric Gené, son of CUPRA Racing development driver Jordi.

New outfit GOAT Racing will compete in the new KUMHO FIA TCR World Tour in 2024, running a pair of the latest generation Honda Civic Type R FL5 TCRs, with the team’s drivers to be confirmed at a later date.
